Sports Massage is not limited to competitive athletes. Sports Massage
is an essential part of all training, from endurance to strength,
for marathoners to gym enthusiasts. Each session aids in recovery
by replenishing your muscles and allowing an equally hard workout
the next day.
Each session, typically one hour, is tailored specifically to the individual's
sport/activity. Range of motion, flexibility, muscular health and posture
are analyzed. The majority of the hour is spent manually lengthening muscles
that are repetitively used, decreasing muscular "knots", and actively
stretching. It is recommended that you wear shorts for your session, and
if you need upper body work to wear a tank top or sports bra.
